Divorce & Annulment

Annulment is a declaration that the marriage never existed perhaps because it was not consummated. Divorce is often the end rather than the beginning of the process.

Separation, custody, access, maintenance, property and financial provision and final settlements mostly come before divorce. Divorce can be obtained on one of a number of grounds adultery, unreasonable behaviour, desertion, living apart for two years + consent and living apart for five years without consent.
