Assets Jointly Owned

Jointly held bank or building society accounts, shares, bonds or other assets can pass automatically to the surviving co-owner irrespective of any wishes to the contrary you express in your Will. You need to be aware your Will only deals with assets held in your sole name or held as a tenant in common.
