Make a Will and help charity at the same time in Nov

By Lenore Rice

In November you can make a Will and have the solicitor fee donated to charity by taking part in Will Aid.

This is the 25th year of Will Aid, which involves solicitors in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK waiving their normal fee for writing a Will, with the money going to a group of charities instead. Approximately £13.6million has been raised for different charities through the scheme over the years, and the 9 charities being supported this year are ActionAid, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, Age UK, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF, Sightsavers and Trocaire.

Approximately 70 per cent of adults in Northern Ireland and the UK haven't made a Will, though polls regularly show that the majority of people believe it is a good idea to write a Will and that they intend to do so at some point.

Contact us before the end of November to write a Will and tell us you want your fee donated to Will Aid. Call us at 0800 840 9293 or submit your details for a callback by clicking here.
