Wilson Nesbitt advises on new Lidl Store at Castlebawn, Newtownards.

Wilson Nesbitt has advised on the development of a 2 acre site adjacent to Castlebawn Retail Park, Newtownards as a new Lidl concept store.   The deal, led by real estate partner Drew Nesbitt, includes a requirement on Lidl to install a new access road which will open up adjoining development land.

The latest addition to the 45 acre Castlebawn Scheme, with contractors currently on site, will see an investment of £5.5m in a new concept store that will create 70 new jobs (during construction and operation).  The wider masterplan for the scheme will see the development of retail, housing and offices across the brownfield site.
