2019 Wilson Nesbitt Graduate Programme intake announced

We are delighted to announce the details of our 2019 graduate programme intake.

Five of the current partners of the firm started out their legal careers in Wilson Nesbitt on a pre qualification graduate programme and the firm has always been committed to providing the best of the local legal talent with a pathway to qualification as a solicitor.  We offer at least five solicitors training contracts for the Northern Ireland Institute of Professional Legal Studies on a yearly basis.

Our 2019 graduate programme is open to law graduates and graduates with a non law degree who are considering commencing a course in September 2020 to convert their non law degree to a law degree.

LAW GRADUATES

All successful law graduate candidates accepted on to our graduate programme will be eligible to apply for a solicitor training contract with Wilson Nesbitt commencing in September 2020. We encourage law graduate programme participants with us to take the IPLS examination in December 2019. We provide financial assistance of up to £500 paid on production of receipts to assist law graduate programme participants towards the cost of preparatory tuition and the examination fees.

NON LAW GRADUATES

All successful non law graduates will be eligible for a Wilson Nesbitt supported College of Law two year part time online conversion course commencing September 2020. Those successfully attaining a place on this programme:-

  • Will be able to continue to work full time in Wilson Nesbitt earning a salary;
  • Will have 50% of their course fees paid by the firm on successful completion of the course each year.

The successful candidates will commence employment with the firm in July 2019.
