Compensation win secures £80k damages for young girl injured at play park

The young girl was attending a birthday party at a play park. She went down the slide and her leg was badly impaled by a picnic bench which was installed very near to the bottom of the slide. Nothing had been placed to prevent children going down the slide or otherwise advise that it was not safe to use. The incident has left the young girl with lasting scarring which she has understandably become very conscious of.
