Real Property

Real property (buildings and land) owned with another person as a joint tenant will automatically pass to the survivor whilst property and land owned with another person as a tenant in common will pass in accordance with the wishes expressed in your Will (see ‘joint tenants’ or ‘tenants in common’?).   We will not check the ownership title documents of any of your assets unless you specifically request us to do so in writing and if requested to do so as detailed in the introduction hereto we will invoice additional fees to cover the investigation and title perusal time incurred.  No liability is accepted by Wilson Nesbitt if you have not requested us in writing to check ownership titles.
