Trainee Solicitors Scheme – September 2021
What we do?
Wilson Nesbitt has a long tradition of taking ambitious and hard working graduates and helping them develop into brilliant solicitors. Graduates who have the aptitude to look for the right solution, go that extra mile for our clients and want to continually learn and work in a fulfilling team environment. Our training contract offers graduates the ability to develop their skills within an environment that promotes excellence, respect, collaboration and innovation.
We have helped some of the best minds practising in Northern Ireland to take their first steps in their legal career. We offer responsibility, high-quality work and access to top clients to help you shape your skills. To help you develop you will get to work with top lawyers who have practised locally and abroad and follow a training programme that is designed to give you the best start in your career.
Our people and their talent represents the future of our firm.
What will you experience?
A training contract at Wilson Nesbitt offers a fantastic legal grounding across real estate, banking and finance and private client. We are experts in those sectors of the market and provide our trainees with a hands on experience of running their own matters under supervision and supporting partners on market leading transactions.
We are authorised by the Law Society of Northern Ireland to provide training to students who have obtained a place at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Over the course of 2 years, our Trainees have the opportunity to become specialists in particular areas of law. You will have option to rotate through teams or to choose to specialise from a early stage in your career.
You will get to work with like minded people and will have access to a network of support to ensure personal development. You will be part of the team, will be challenged, trained and supported and, at the end of your contract, will have an opportunity to qualify into one of our teams. We have a good track record of offering newly qualified solicitors qualified posts at the end of their training contracts.
