Wilson Nesbitt maintain Lexcel reaccreditation
We are celebrating the exciting news that Wilson Nesbitt has been accredited with the Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation for the 22nd time.
After rigorous on-site and file inspections, including staff interviews and document examination, 18 areas of good practice were identified in total, an increase on last year.
Gilbert Nesbitt, Partner, says: “It’s been a busy year for Wilson Nesbitt, and we are extremely proud of our team for keeping standards high.
“Lexcel sets the bar for the provision of legal services, so it’s a great feeling to be recognised for our commitment to our team, clients, and the wider industry.”
Highlights from the assessor’s feedback include:
- “There is extremely easy communication with Partners within the practice, with a true open-door and supportive approach.”
- “The firm remains Cyber Essentials Plus accredited.”
- “Corporate clients as well as individual clients have high expectations of a slick and efficient service delivery, which is supported by the technology used in the firm.”
- “The firm’s approach to training internally when undertaking a training contract is comprehensive, and interviewees who qualified within the firm spoke highly of the exposure to high-level mentoring and good levels of client contact, often which their peers in other practices do not experience, particularly in larger firms.”
- “There is a real feel for the Partners granting a lot of opportunity to progress, and interviewees felt encouraged to improve and develop, which in turn has built their confidence in being able to carry out their role effectively.”
- “The Partners are dedicated to offering opportunities for development within the practice and are focusing on internal upskilling and progression to bring people through the ranks during the course of their career to aid succession planning.”
- “The Assessor was pleased to hear how the charity committee are carrying out excellent work and are continually organising events such as crazy golf, teambuilding events, and various activities to highlight Mental Health Awareness Week, and it is understood the firm has recently formed its own football team.”
